The Cranbourne Lions Concert Band is a community run, not-for-profit group that has been working to benefit the people of Cranbourne and its outlying suburbs since 1986. We have over 30 members from varied and diverse backgrounds who come together every Tuesday night to not only expand their musical abilities but to also have fun.
The band enjoys playing at an assortment of community and municipal functions throughout the year. We also plan and host our own events for the local community including our CLCB Concert Band Festival, Variety Concert and annual Musical Trivia Night.
The concert band rehearses Tuesday evenings 8:00pm to 10:00pm at The Factory (next to the Casey RACE pool in Cranbourne) and we welcome new members of any age and experience.
Position Vacant: Musical Director!
The Cranbourne Lions Concert Band are now accepting applications for the highly coveted role of Musical Director!
Established in 1986, the ungraded band currently consists of approximately 25 members of varying levels of experience and age.
The band is very active and regularly performs at a number of local community events throughout the year including Australia Day Celebrations, Berwick Show and various Christmas Carol services. They also hos three major concerts each year.
The band rehearses on Tuesday nights from 8pm to 10pm at The Factory, located at New Holland Drive, Cranbourne.
